Hill United wins Tavistock tournament
Hill United Chiefs, the #1 ranked ISC team, won the Cephas Roth Memorial Tournament in Tavistock, ON this past weekend. HU defeated the #3 Kitchener Hallman Twins in a wild 11-9 final. Matt Greer of the GOFL's Quyon Flyers plays with the Twins.
The #22 Kanata Storm, featuring several GOFLers, finished with a 2-2 record. The Storm beat the Glanworth Gators 3-2 and the #14 Kitchener Cubs 4-3, dropped a very close 6-5 decision to the #8 A1 Bombers and ended the tourney with a 10-5 loss to the Australian National Team.
