Kars Aces travelled to Stittsville on Wednesday night to face the 56ers. Brad Porter took the mound for Kars while Dan Konkle pitched for Stittsville.

After two scoreless innings, Kars got on the board with three runs in the 3rd. Nick Ellis singled leading off and was sacrificed to second by Cory Morrison. Ellis moved to third on a wild pitch to Kristian Knapp, who later walked to put runners at first and third. Cory Alkerton then singled to score Ellis, Knapp to second. Chad Milne hit a ground ball to second to force out Alkerton, Knapp to third. Lukas Kamps followed with a liner just over the infield that found the hole in right-centre, driving in both Knapp and Milne. Kamps advanced to third when the throw from the outfield was misplayed. Konkle got out of the inning without further damage by striking out the next batter.

Kars scored another run in the 4th when Ellis led off with single and later scored on a misplayed ground ball off the bat of Knapp.

Kars put the game out of reach with another 3-run inning in the 5th. Milne and Kamps both walked and moved up a base on a ground out by Danny Powers. Matt Alkerton then walked to load the bases. Jordan Adams followed with a sharply hit ground ball that was misplayed, allowing Milne to score from third. After a strikeout, Morrison drove in Kamps and Alkerton with a low liner down the left side. Porter closed it out in the 5th inning for the 7-0 win.
