Stittsville, I4C Victory win in Carp - with some details

Stittsville 5 Ottawa Valley As 2

Stittsville 56ers won the early game in the doubleheader in Carp, with a 5-2 victory over the Ottawa Valley As. Darren Featherstone earned the win, while Todd Wilson took the loss.


In the first inning, the 56ers' Ryan Bond continued his hot hitting streak and nailed a triple, followed by a John Craig home run.

Stittsville scored one more in the third inning to make it 3-0.

In the top of the seventh, Tim Maisonneuve reached on an error and Bond hit a two run homer.

The A's came back with two in the bottom of the seventh, final score 5-2.


I4C Victory 6 Ottawa Valley As 1

In the night cap, I4C Victory won 6-1 over the Valley As behind a strong no-hit performance by Andrew Putnam. Ryley Burns took the loss and had relief from Wilson and Adam Rueckwald.
