GOFL Week #8
Week 8 of the Greater Ottawa Fastball League schedule is jam-packed with games, including a few make ups from previously cancelled tilts.
The Kars Aces (6-2-2) will be in Carp to face the Stittsville 56ers (3-6) in a rare Monday night tilt at 8:30 pm. If all goes according to play, that game will be "live tweeted" via @fitzroyfastball for those who wish to follow the progress of the game.
Tuesday night will see West Carleton Electric (3-5) travel over to Quyon to face the Flyers (2-4) at 8 pm. There will be some Canada Day festivities taking place that evening as well.
There are no games on Canada Day, but there are three games on Thursday. The Ottawa Valley As (3-6) will be hosting a double header in Carp at 7 pm vs Stittsville and 9 pm vs I4C Victory (4-2-2). There will also be a rematch in Quyon as West Carleton is there again to play the Flyers at 8:30pm.
This week also features a Friday-nighter in Micksburg, with the Twins (7-3) hosting the Kars Aces at 8:30 pm.
