Micksburg wins 6-2 over Stittsville (WITH DETAILS)
The Micksburg Twins won 6-2 over the Stittsville 56ers in Greater Ottawa Fastball League action on Thursday night up to Valley. Cogeco TV was on hand to tape the game.
Corey Costello got.the win and had relief from Joran Graham. Adam Smith took the loss.

Stittsville travelled to Micksburg for the Thursday night game against the Twins. A perfect night for ball where it was a night of firsts. The first night using the new lights at the diamond which were installed last week. As well as the first Cogeco TV broadcast of the year of Twins home games.
Corey Costello toed the slab for the Twins going 4 1/3 innings earning the win with relief from Joran Graham going 2 2/3. Adam Smith countered for the 56er’s.
The Twins got on the board early. Corey Costello’s based loaded triple scored three while Corey’s brother Chad scored Corey on a sac fly the next at bat.
Stittsville would score two runs in the top of the third to close the gap. Sngles by Adam Smith and Dan Jessiman, who would each score on singles from Tyler Nystedt and John Craig.
Jamey Mick led off the third with a single and would later score of Chad Costello’s second RBI of the game. Mick then had an RBI of his own hitting in Quinton Rook who hit a lead off triple.
Next game for the Twins is tonight as Fitzroy Harbour comes to town for an 8:30 start. Stittsville goes again Wednesday June 29th for a double header in Manotick against I4C and Kars.
