Micksburg wins both in Thursday doubleheader
The Micksburg Twins won both games in a Thursday night Greater Ottawa Fastball League doubleheader. With the Micksburg diamond double booked, the games were played at the McNab diamonds.
The first game of the night saw the Twins beat the Stittsville 56ers 7-0 in five innings. Joran Graham earned the win while Kyle Olson took the loss. This game saw 15 year old Liam Jessiman make his GOFL debut with 56ers alongside his dad Scott and uncle Dan.
The night cap was a 12-5 win for Micksburg over West Carleton Electric in six innings. John Enright got the win while Steve Cavanagh was tagged with the loss. For Micksburg, Graham had two homers and Riley Hennessy had a solo HR.
