North Leeds Men's Fastball League playoffs
In the North Leeds Men's Fastball League, the first round of the playoffs best-of-three series are complete.
Greenbush defeated Westport 2-0
North Augusta defeated Athens 2-0
Lyn defeated Maitland 2-1
Eastons Corners A's defeated Eastons Corners Haymakers 2-0
The second round sees North Augusta match up against Greenbush. The first game had North Augusta win 2-1. Luke Severson and Cory Alkerton combined for a 1 hitter and Alkerton hit a 2 run HR to help his cause. Austin Blanchard took the loss with excellent relief from Kevin Phillips who also provided to lone Gererals hit and RBI. Game 2 tonight in Greenbush.
The other series between Eastons Corners A's and Lyn is yet to start.
