Easton defeats Stittsville on Tues July 26

Kanata Team Easton defeated the Stittsville 56ers by a score of 6-0 on Tuesday night. Dan Konkle gets the win for Easton, pitching a 1 hitter over 5 innings, while striking out 8. Darren Featherstone takes the loss, giving up all 6 runs on 9 hits while walking 5 and striking out 4.
Easton Catcher, Todd Fraser was all the offence Easton would need. Fraser was 3 for 4 on the night with 2 homeruns and a double, driving in 3. Scott Marion hit a 2 run single in the third, and Cory Morrison was 2 for 2 on the night. 56er SS, Dan Preston had the lone hit for Stittsville.
Note: With this win, Easton clinched first place in the regular season GOFL standings.
