Manotick defeats Greely

Manotick used four first inning runs to propel them out of the gate to a 10-3 victory in Greely last night. The rejuvenated Calvin Medynski continued his strong start with a 4/4 night to pace the hitting attack with Trevor Power adding a 3/4 game, including his third home run of the season.

Paul Ceppi had another solid outing on the mound, allowing just one earned run while striking out 14 and surrendering no free passes. Gord Flannery started for Greely and was replaced by Shannon Borho in the second, who gave way to newcomer Tom Edwards for the final three innings.
