Loughborough Fastball League report

The Loughborough Fastball League will once again have 9 teams this season. The Battersea Merchants have folded, but there is a new team out of Newburgh (North of Napanee) with a core group of players that graduated from the Napanee Junior team last year.

The teams in the league are:

Kingston Cowboys
Napanee North Key Juniors
North Fredricksburg Kings
Sunbury Merchants
Enterprise Oasis Pools
Sydenham Men's
Newburgh Men's
Napanee Midgets
Sydenham Midgets

The league will hold two League showcase nights where 4 league games will be played at one park. One at Keeley Rd in Sydenham, and one in Napanee.

June 17th will be the LFL night at Keeley Rd with the following schedule:

6:30 Enterprise vs Sydenham Midgets
6:30 Kingston Cowboys vs North Fred Kings
8:30 Newburgh vs Sydenham
8:30 Napanee Jrs vs Sunbury

July 22th will be the LFL night in Napanee with the following schedule:

6:30 Napanee Midgets vs Sydenham Mens
6:30 Enterprise vs North Fred Kings
8:30 Sunbury vs Napanee Jrs
8:30 Kingston Cowboys vs Newburgh

The league has voted for a year end tournament for the second year in a row, which will be held Sept 10-12 weekend at the Keeley Road Diamonds in Sydenham. This tournament will be a true Double Knock out tournament.
