Team Quebec wins Casy at the Bat in Williamsburg

Team Quebec walked through the Williamsburg, On tournament this weekend going a perfect 4 wins and 0 losses throughout the weekend.

Game 1 featured Team Quebec versus the Ottawa Blitz and the always crafty Derrick Bulley. It took a while for the Frenchmen to wake up but once they did (in the 5th inning) the boys in blue hit back-to-back jacks, securing the contest with a 2-0 victory.

Next on the sked for Quebec was the up and coming Napanee Midget squad. It was a less than exciting game with the final tally being QC 12 Napanee 0

This put the blue boys at the top of their pool putting their time slot for the semi finals at 9am vs the Napanee Intermediates.

Once again, the lads had some trouble waking up but when they did they erupted for 6 runs in the top of the second. Final score being 7 - 0.

This set up a "belle match" against the home town favourites the Williamsburg Cigars in the final. However the boys in blue ended up "smoking" them with a final score of 5 - 0.
