WC Electric wins 1-0 over North Gower

with info from Bud Hanlon, Jon Daley and TC - I was coaching Fitzroy Jr's game tonight (he won, thanks for asking) so I am relying on these reporters for the details

West Carleton Electric (2-1) prevailed by a score of 1-0 in GOFL action Tuesday night in North Gower in the first game of the doubleheader over the NG Marlboroughs (0-1-1).

Bud Hanlon (2-0) had the win, throwing six innings, while Steve Cavanagh threw the final frame and earned the save. Ryan Chatten (0-1) took the loss and had relief from Shannon Borho.

The Electric scored the only run of the game in the first when Jon Daley lead the game off with a walk and scored on Neil Murphy's double.

The two teams will meet up again on Friday night in a doubleheader in Fitzroy Harbour. Game times are 7pm and 9pm.
