Kars defeats Quyon 4-1

Kars defeated Quyon 4-1 in GOFL play Monday night in North Gower.
Brad Porter got the win for the Aces, giving one run on five hits and striking out 13. Matt Greer took the loss for the COMBAT Flyers, giving up four runs, three of which were earned, on four hits and striking out 11.
Kristian Knapp led off the game with a solo homer for the Aces. Kurtis Summers and Brad Pender also had RBIs for Kars. Nick Armitage drove in Shawn Laframboise for the lone Quyon run.
