Micksburg beats Quyon 9-2 on Friday - DETAILS

Friday night saw Micksburg beat Quyon by a score of 9-2 in 5 innings.  Corey Costello had the win while Matt Greer took the loss.  The Twins jumped out to an early lead and easily cruised to victory.

Quyon got a spark in the second inning after a Steve McCord single to right field.  In his 2013 debut, Earl Kearns pulled an RBI double down the right field line to get the Flyers on the board.

Joe McCleary added a solo home run in the 5^th but that’s all the offense Quyon could muster.

Corey Costello had two homers in addition to the pitching victory to earn the Caveman's Choice as player of the game.
