In GOFL action on Thursday night in Quyon, the Flyers beat the Blues 12-4. Matt Greer took the win while Paul Ceppi the loss with relief coming from Trevor Lahey.

Barrhaven got out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the 1^st inning.

Quyon answered back with 2 in the bottom half of the 1^st.  Dennis McCleary singled and scored on a Shawn Laframboise double to the gap in right centre.  Laframboise scored on a Matt Greer RBI single to right field.

Quyon took the lead in 2^nd with a 3-run homer off the bat of Greer and never looked back.  Joe McCleary ended things in the bottom of the 5^th with a walk-off mercy rule grand slam.

For his work on the slab getting the win as well as going three for four with a HR and 4RBI, Greer gets the decision as Caveman's Choice for player of the game.
