GOFL Week #9

The ninth week of the Greater Ottawa Fastball League will feature five games.

Tuesday night at 9 pm in Fitzroy Harbour has West Carleton Electric (4-7) hosting I4C Victory (4-8).

Wednesday night at the Grove at 8:30 pm sees the Stittsville 56ers (6-1-3) playing host to the Kars Aces (4-5). That same night in Micksburg the Twins (5-6-1) will play host to the Quyon Flyers (5-2-1) at 8:30 pm.

Thursday night in Fitzroy Harbour will feature the annual Harbour Days game at 7 pm, as the Electric play host to Quyon. Prior to that game, starting at 6 pm, will be a kids softball skills clinic with GOFL players leading the drills. All children 6 to 16 are welcome and there will be draw prize awarded to a lucky participant. There will also be an outdoor beer garden (not for the kids) and $1 hot dogs as part of the summer festival in the Harbour that kicks off that night.

Also on Thursday in Carp, Stittsville will face the Kanata Pirates (5-4-1) at 8:30 pm in a make up game from week two.
