Chiefs lose another close one at U23 nationals
In the second day of competition at the Softball Canada Men's U23 national championship, the host Ottawa Valley Chiefs lost two games, including a very close 3-2 defeat to the Alvinson Aces. Cory Baldwin threw well in the loss. The Chiefs had previously lost 9-0 earlier in the day to Newfoundland.
Friday night will be a big night at the event, with seeding games, a charity game, two Greater Ottawa Fastball League games at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., a live band and a roast beef dinner.
