Micksburg tournament Friday night

The Micksburg Men's Fastball tournament kicked off Friday night with two great games and fans on hand to watch.

Game 1 was between Micksburg Kool Vent Heat and the Tri-City Logsplitters (made up of Harbour Ball players). KVH prevailed 3-0 with Drew Hathway and Blake Bramburger combining for a two hit shutout.  Gabe Brown and Ryland Hill threw for the Splitters. 

Game 2 was a 3-2 win for the Micksburg Twins over Fitzroy. Matt McIntyre pitched for the Twins and had a homer, and John Enright also threw. Joe Mick added a bomb for the locals. Adam Rueckwald and Matt Greer threw for Fitzroy. 

Games resume Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Other clubs in the six team event are The Wizards and Osgoode.
