GOFL this week
The Greater Ottawa Fastball League has six games lined up on the schedule this week.
Things kick off with a rare Tuesday night tilt at the Grove in Stittsville, as the Quyon Flyers (2-5) are in to play the 56ers (3-7) at 8:30pm in a make up game from early June.
The 56ers are back at it on Wednesday night at home, hosting the Kars Aces (4-4-2) at 8:30pm. The 7pm and 9pm games in Manotick sees Taylor's Blitz (4-6) and the Barrhaven Broadway Blues (3-6) tangle in a 'home and home' doubleheader.
Thursday night, Carp I4C Victory (7-3-1) takes the boat to Quyon to face the Flyers in a 8pm start. Also that night at 7pm in Fitzroy Harbour is the annual "Harbour Days" game, this year featuring the Micksburg Twins (9-2) in face West Carleton Electric (5-4-1). Beforehand, there will be a softball skills clinic from 6pm to 6:45pm led by some of the GOFL players on hand.
