A brief round up of eastern Ontario teams at the ISC World Tournament today.
Toronto Gators 12 Napanee Merchants Express 0
After winning their first game, Napanee played #4 Toronto Gators this morning. Sean Cleary had the win for the Gators, while Jordan MacDonald took the loss with relief from Josh Lockridge. Former GOFLer Joel Langford was 2 for 3 with a walk and two runs batted in for the Gators. Napanee will now play the Kanata Storm at noon on Monday.
Circle Tap (WI) Dukes 9 Ottawa Broker4Tickets 0
Broker4Tickets drew #8 Cirle Tap Dukes from Wisconsin after beating Shakespeare on Saturday. The Dukes used two Argentinian pitchers: Juan Potolicchio had the win and had relief from Erick Urbaneja. Cory Alkerton took the loss. Joran Graham had the only hit for Broker - a double. Ottawa now pays Sweaburg Crush at 10 am on Monday.
