Ty Stofflet, lefty pitching legend, dead at 79
The International Softball Congress announced that left-handed fastball pitching legend Ty Stofflet has died at the age of 79.
Stofflet, a Pennsylvania native who played in events at Elkland, was renowned by some as the greatest lefty - and perhaps greatest overall pitcher - the game has ever seen.
