Local umpires get National assignments

In addition to the International assignment reported a few weeks ago on the blog, there are a couple of other local officials that have received National level assignments for 2015.

Steve Fitzsimmons and Audrey Desmarteaux-Houle will both be umpiring at the U18 Women's Softball Canada tournament to be held in Montreal from August 2 to 9. Steve is a regular on the Greater Ottawa Fastball League circuit and Audrey will also receive some GOFL assignments this year to prepare her for the Nationals.

Congratulations to both officials.
