Harbour Ball tournament June 2-4

The Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League will host their annual tournament this year on the June 2-4 weekend.

Glen Cairn tournament June 9-11 is looking for teams

The Glen Cairn Men's Fastball League has an annual tournament which they host in Carp. It's a great event, well-organized and fun to participate in. This year's tourney will be held June 9-11 and they are looking for teams to participate. To find out more, contact Tom at tom.chambers[at]live.com.

The Westport Lumberjacks of the North Leeds Men's Fastball League are hosting a tournament June 2 and 3 in Westport.

Ashton league back for another season

Word is that the Ashton Men's Fastball League is back for another season of Thursday night fastpitch at the Thomas Cavanagh Community Centre in southwestern rural Ottawa.

By all accounts the Ashton league is a fun night of good fastball, with four teams taking part. A few GOFLers (current and former) play in AMFL, won last year by playoff champions the NAPA Shockers.

The Shawville Men's Fastpitch League which plays Monday nights at the Shawville R.A., has opened up registration to returning and new players.

Greater Ottawa Fastball League to feature 7 teams in 2023

The Greater Ottawa Fastball League will have seven teams for the 2023 season, down from eight.

The travel league which plays across eastern Ontario and western Quebec, and the GOFL schedule will be posted soon on GOFL.ca.

2023 teams are:

Shawville, QC Quyon Flyers
Fitzroy Harbour, ON West Carleton Electric
Manotick, ON Brewers
Kars, ON Aces
Osgoode, ON Chiefs
Orleans, ON Rebels

Harbour Ball getting ready for 2023

Word from the Harbour is that the Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League will be holding their annual draft on Thursday night. 

The "commish" Brendan Coker hopes to have eight teams participating in Harbour Ball this season. 

There will be six men's teams, a U17 team, and the U20 West Carleton Electric.

The league, which has been around over 40 years, plays Wednesday nights at the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre.

Registration is open for Glen Cairn Men's Fastball League, in Kanata (west end Ottawa).

Word is there are also a couple of youth teams joining the Glen this year: U17 Stittsville 56ers and U20 West Carleton Electric.

The Glen plays Mondays, Tuesdays, and some Wednesdays at the diamond at A.Y. Jackson Secondary School.

Blackburn Men's Fastball League seeks players for 2023

Registration for the 2023 Blackburn Men's Fastball League season is still open and the league is still looking for players, including pitchers and catchers. 

Cost to register is $250 and games are held Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at the Blackburn arena diamond.
